To make sure an activity counts toward a Teamupp challenge, there are two main ways to add it:
– by connecting a compatible fitness app
– by manually adding it (if allowed by the challenge)
🔗 1. Automatically Sync Your Activities
Connect a compatible app (like Strava, Garmin, Apple Health...) to have your activities automatically imported into your activity feed.
💡 Go to your account settings to link your preferred fitness app.
👉 Use multiple fitness apps daily? No worries! You can connect several apps at once — our system automatically detects duplicates so the same activity isn’t counted more than once.

✍️ 2. Add an Activity Manually
If the challenge allows it, you can manually log an activity by tapping the “+” icon at the top right of your screen in the “Activity” tab:
- Date of the activity
- Type of activity (choose from over 60 sports)
- Duration
- Distance (if applicable)
⚠️ Important: Manual entry is not always allowed. Challenge rules are set by the organizer. Make sure to check if this option is available for your specific challenge.
If you don’t see the “+” icon at the top right of the Activity tab, manual entry has not been enabled for your challenge.
⚠️ Allowed Activities Depend on the Challenge
Each challenge may allow a different range of sports. Here are a few examples:
- Walking-only challenge
- Challenge that allows walking + running + cycling
- Multi-sport challenge with 60+ possible activities (yoga, soccer, tennis, weight training, etc.)
🛑 Important note: What you can sync or add manually depends on your company or challenge organizer. Some activities may be intentionally disabled.

If you're unsure how to log your activity or which sports are allowed, be sure to review the challenge rules.
