To ensure a fair and motivating experience for all participants, we’ve implemented several detection and verification systems.
🔎 Automatic Detection of Suspicious Activities
We analyze every activity synced or manually added. Certain irregularities may cause an activity to be flagged as suspicious, such as:
-
Abnormally high speed
-
Unrealistic or exaggerated distance
-
Duration too short to be plausible
-
Duplicates (the same activity detected from multiple connected apps)
👉 These activities are automatically grayed out and not counted toward your score. For more details, check out our article on invalid activities.
📸 Photo Challenge Verification
Entries for photo challenges are also manually reviewed by our team. Any attempt to cheat (off-topic images, content taken from the internet, or reused submissions) may be disqualified.
🚫 Consequences for Cheating
If cheating is confirmed, we reserve the right to suspend or permanently block access to the Teamupp app, depending on the severity of the behavior.
Our goal: to provide a safe, fair, and respectful environment for everyone.
Thanks for playing fair! 💪
